Flavor in bread, possible?

Hi,

This forum is really good with great information, thanks all.  I would like to ask the following:

- In sourdough bread can one add extra fiber?

- it is possible to add flavor to any dough, what i mean by this is like a chocolate has a e.g. strawberry flavor throughout is this possible with bread, i don't want pieces of fruit in the bread, i want someone to pick it up in my family and say wow this taste like bread and has a strawberry flavor?

I am new to bread baking, thanks for the help and advice.

You can add fiber to SD by using lots of different ingredients such as bran, germ, whole grains, etc.

You can also add sweet and/or savory flavors to your bread doughs, although "any" dough might be pushing it.

diabetics than whole grain SD breads.  Bakers have been putting beers. whey, fruits, nuts, veggies and seeds in the breads for thousands of years to increase nutrition, flavor, vitamins and protein as well as other health benefits

Happy baking
