Bouchon Bakery - Choc - choc chunk / chip cookie

Here is my "miz on plas" for the choc-choc chunk / chip cookie I will bake later tonight.

And so far I have really liked what I have been seeing ... I made the really simple pecan sandies a couple of days ago and everyone here seems to really enjoy them ... including my son who swears that he doesn't like pecans!!!!

I have been really happy so far with everything. I am baking the entire book so say tuned over the next year. I enjoyed the pecan sandies but added 30 grams more butter. You can see my post on that in the challenges forum. You should join me in baking. Next week is the TLC's.

Here is the finished cookie. Recipe worked great, no changes. They taste amazing! I didnt have their special cocoa powder so I used Herseys Special Dark Dutch Process thats readily available at my local store. Really just amazing chocolate fudgy goodness!

I cant post the recipes. They are in the book if you want to purchase it. Im doing this like the ITJB challenge. If I find something wrong with a recipe or have trouble and found a unique way to work through it. That sort of stuff.
