Smaller than a breadbox

I have been repurposing the plastic bins that salad greens come in (they no longer take them at the recycle place) for some bread tasks that have reduced my use of plastic bags and wrap. Them seem to work great so I want to share it with everyone. My "Hillbilly Breadbox" and the no more shower cap proofer.

Is there a proper way to remove those labels?

Look at you. Saving the planet and an ingenious idea at that????

Hillbilly goddess Minnie Pearl didn't remove labels (well, er, price tags).

That was a good show in a corny kind of way. "Hey Grandpa what's for supper?" My folks loved it. I may be related to The Culhanes. NR

I'm still using those former salad green containers since the mid 2010's. The labels come off if you use something like GooGone. First run hot water over the labels to soften the paper part. Let them sit for 10 minutes and you should be able to easily scrape off the paper with your finger nail or dull knife. When you're just left with the solid glue underneath blot it with a paper towel to dry somewhat, spray with GooGone, leave alone for a few minutes to soften the glue then wipe off with a paper towel. You may need to do it a few times depending on the thickness of the glue, but ultimately it all comes off. Wash with soap & water, dry, glisten and smile. Thanks for your suggestion of using them as a breadbox or rising environment.
