nbicomputers- Norm?

I haven't seen his responses here lately, I enjoyed them.  I don't want to be nosey, but I know he was ill and hope he's okay. Has anyone here heard from him?

He posted a comment as recently as 8 hours ago here :)

No, dstroy, it wasn't Norm.  He had posted to that thread in February, but someone else posted there 8 hours ago.

Oh you're right - I misread the "tracking" feature. I'll drop him a note to let him know folks are asking for him :)

At about the same time you posted, Marni, I was using one of his charts to convert 2 tablespoons of honey to ounces.  And I was thinking the same thing.  I haven't seen any posts from him lately either.

I sent him a few notes off forum to his business email last week and have made repeated attempts to reach him at the office with the phone. I have not received any reply thus far.

I've been concerned with his absence too, and do hope that all is well.  If anyone hears from him, please ask him to give us a shout.

You're missed, Norm.  Come back, we won't bite, unless there's bread in your hands.  lol.

I've wondered about his well-being as well.

Miss you Norm; your comments, your recipes, and especially your stories!

I spoke to him about a week ago. He had some health complications but said he was ok now and that he would be back on the forum, but haven't seen anything yet. He is sorely missed...great expertise and a nice person. I don't think he deserved the chastising he got for getting a little sloppy on the forum. I don't know but I'm guessing he found a friendlier site. :-(

The issues with Norm were broader "getting a little sloppy on the forum" and you know that. That said, it is water under the bridge. Accommodations were made and I think we'd found a balance that was working for everyone. His presence was welcome here.

I'm glad to hear he is recovering. I wish him well.
