Harry Potter

I believe that one of the hardest things to do in bread baking is to wait long enough at the right times in the process.  It is so easy to rush the process and yet so crucial to be able to wait at the right times.

That being the case I would like to suggest Harry Potter as a good solution.  I have read all 6 volumns and have just started on the last one that I picked up today at Borders Books.  It was strange to be in a special long line for pick up of a reserved Harry Potter book and not have anyone else in the line under the age of 30 yrs. old.

I withdraw the question. Amazing phenomenon, is Harry Potter. Here he's been overshadowed a little by the Simpson movie premiere. I hope that business hasn't got all of Oregon permanently steamed at us.

C'mon, no spoilers, please. We just picked our copy up from the library this morning and my wife gets first shot at it. It is going to be at least the middle of the week before I get to start it. Please don't ruin it for me!

I guess it's been too long since I got myself in trouble--I apologize to whoever I scared the bejeezus out of...my kid would kill me if I actually found out, but gosh, I couldn't resist posing the question. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Some things are too serious to joke about (if only I'd learn to recognize them with forethought and not hindsight.) I was sure CountryBoy wouldn't crumble anyway. CountryBoy, take this as my tribute to your sense of courtesy and discretion...and if I give you my email address...

Last time a careless news site posted who die in the 6th book next day after the release. On the front page! In the Headline! I hadn't finished the book yet. Geez. So mad about this.

You can always go over to   http://www.librarything.com/groups/hogwartsexpress

and engage in a further conversation there.

The forum is very knowledgeable regardless of area of interest.

For those who have not heard the good news, the audiobook version of all the Harry Potter books with Jim Dale reading is fantastic, out of sight, and truly unimaginable. Before you die, promise yourself to experience a reading by Jim Dale.  Of course you think I exagerate and that I am not being balanced in my evaluation, but then again you have never listened to Jim Dale.
