As I have literally tons of organic wheat here and make lots of bread for our farmers' market I became aware of a homeless shelter in the area that shelters families and singles- about 30 people in all. I would like to start baking bread to donate to the shelter- about 40 loaves a week, but I don't have a bread slicer. They only have one person cooking for all of those folks at a time and it would take too much time out of her day to slice all of the loaves of bread.
So, does anyone know of a smallish bread slicer for sale that could take a 1 1/2 or 2 lb loaf? I live in a rural area and there are no such machines available here.
