Asking with Pyrex vs cast iron

I don't have a small cast iron enameled dutch oven for baking TARTINE SD.  

Can I use pyrex?  Or not?

I have baked many loaves in a Pyrex Cob dish with its lid on. They turn out great.

This pic shows the cob in the oven alongside an enamel roaster.  was testing them side by side to compare. There was a batard (from the same batch of dough) in each one.

And ta da... the loaf on the right was the from Pyrex! The other, on the left, from the enamel roaster.

Clearly both containers work, but look at that ear out of Pyrex. :-)
