Favourite part of the baking day

My favourite part of the baking day is when the loaves are cool enough to slice. My better half is keen to attack the end crusts, but I have to stop her from taking from the loaf that is to go to family. The serrated blade deli slicer makes the task easy and fast. These are 10% stone-ground red wheat sourdough; our everyday bread.

Cheers,

Gavin.

Breads and machine look awesome Gavin, an eye candy for sure. I have been making sandwich loafs quite often nowadays and would definitely be in need of a machine like this, as my hand cutting is terrible to divide the slides evenly. Thanks!

Thanks. I've had the slicer for several years. I originally bought it for slicing homemade bacon, but now dedicated to bread only.

These are well made breads. Now the time has come to enjoy, the the fruit of your labor.  ( I know I am corny)

Thanks. I love this bread. The 10% red wheat is a marked difference than 10% rye.

Thanks Benny. They don't cost much and worth it provided you have the storage space.

Nicely sliced. Love the clas ww; it's on my list to try. A few TFLers here are hooked on clas.
