Manual Sheeter

Has anyone ever tried one of those manual sheeters you see on Etsy -- you know, the ones that look like a big pasta machine (or an old timey clothes wringer)?

I've done a search, and have seen them recommended on occasion, but have never seen any reports on how they work by people who actually know what they're doing.

I'm interested in it for laminated doughs.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks!  That's the slab roller (generally used for flattening clay or some such thing) version, and it's definitely an option, but I was asking about the relatively inexpensive and ostensibly purpose built manual dough sheeters one sees on Etsy and elsewhere.
