I have a container of Molasses that I bought about 4 years ago. I keep it at room temperature in a closed container. There is nothing detectably wrong with it, and I use it baking occaisionally, but I am wondering long it will still be good?
I've got a bottle of blackstrap molasses in the pantry, been there for years, and it's still okay. The fancy type molasses also tends to keep for years.
If you see any crystals forming in the bottle. Just boil some water when the water boils turn off the heat and put the bottle in the water. The crystals will melt and all will be fine.

It could turn to sugar though, just follow the advice from Norm if it does.
