what to do when you have extra pizza dough...

oh my...apple pie !

Long time no see. Here is the recipe. I used my own crust and any would do ...it is the topping that is amazing !!  http://www.pizzacrustyeast.com/Detail.aspx?id=05a14615-fcba-4d70-b951-a6739d17545b.

 

I baked it 22 minutes. I used Braeburn apples...2 med/lrg ones. I tossed them with juice of 1/2 lemon. I used maple syrup/ not Karo. So incredible. We ate the pasta and then....well...let's say there isn't enough apple pizza for breakfast :(.  Amazing pie...will never make regular one again..this is SO low calorie too...without all the fat in crust...nice plus.

I'm not a big apple pie fan but this looks great and something my wife would certainly enjoy.

It is simply delicious ! Way more than what I was expecting. The truth is there were 2 small wedges left and we had them with coffee this AM before church !  Yum...try it you will love it. And WAY less calories than piecrust.

and especially likes to use her left over sweet YW dough for her Fruit Stupid!  Yours looks just as good but not nearly as .....stupid:-)  Well done and happy baking trailrunner.

You must give it a try...so incredibly tasty and very little work...very low calorie also....Thanks for looking. c
