Starter not as jet lagged as me

i wonder if anyone else worries about their starter when they are on holidays ?  Away for 6 weeks, I made a golf ball of starter at 60% hydration and put it into a jar of 500 grams of 100% flour and water batter and in the fridge for 6 weeks.

first thing I did when I got back was not to unpack but kick start my starter!  3 feeds. X 6 hours each and this loaf came out this morning.  So relieved that cariad (welsh for love), was not dead - she's been through a lot in her short life.

what shall I make next ?

my starter hangs out in the fridge for 3-4 months, no problem.

The only thing I worry about on vacation is whether I can get a small jar of starter past airport security to bake with while I'm gone.  I wouldn't put it past those guys to confiscate it for some stupid reason.

rules or scissors.  The TSA published, on their website, the new rule that if they had rounded tips and were less than 1" long you could bring them on the plane. I copied the web posting and took it with me on my weekly trip through the airport security in Phoenix. Sure enough when I went through, the TSA agent tried to confiscate them saying you know better than this Mr Brownman.   I said not so fast and whipped out my copy of their website rules and showed her that my scissors were rounded tipped and less then 3/4" long.  She called over her supervisor who read the copy and said to her 'Never ever believe anything a passenger tells you', this paper is fake' and then turned to me and said 'I am confiscating these illegal scissors or you can go back out of  security and mail them to yourself your choice and walked off.  I noticed he had a mustache just like me :-)

How brave!  I'd never attempt to take my starter through security.  I stress when I take toothpaste !
