Hey, we need some kind of parameters!

I like the twist on No Knead:-)  Bake the bread you like to make for yourself at home when no one is looking.  I'm baking a Holiday Bread since it has to sit for 6 weeks or so and the holidays are upon us........

LOL, Love being rule free - too many stinkin' rules in life otherwise. And you're ON! November 17th. The only one I have to worry about looking is Tillie, but she won't tell!

I am game and will have to think of something different I haven't baked in a while.

So no rules, no plan, and no crumb shot cause they were  given away.

Bread Day challenge.  Posting as late as Friday - no worriesl no harm no foul.  Lucy will pick the winner over the weekend and the winner's prize is ...............that theywill  get to bake Lucy a batch of Sylvia's dog biscuits.  So baking them for the challenge might make you winner.  I'm thiking she might want to pick my entry as the wnner for a quick doggie treat..... so I am disqualified.  You should see her face right now - pathetic really!

Happy Challenge Baking

That reminds me, I haven't made a batch of pumpkin peanut butter cookies for my dogs in a long time. I will have to get on that.

As to my above post and the crumb shot, I should be able to remedy that. I had left over Sourdough levain and I just can't bring myself to throw it out so I fed it and made more of Brenda's Seeded Oat Bread. It is in the fridge rising now and I will bake it later tonight. Experimenting with a shorter proof this time-6 hours or so.

before is allowed.  She says no worries and that if you let sit there for another day no harm will come to the bread and if it over proofs, just reshape it and let it proof again. She has an answer for every problem where she can lend a lessened understanding of the entire nonsense a hand.  She will rule one the day before bake being legal but, since there were no rules, I think you are firm footing.....I would bake away and worry about the apprentices later.

I still technically bake on the 17th but as you said, there are no rules so I can do what I want and Lucy can go pout in one of the many beds I am sure are strewn all over the house for such a spoiled poochie.

The other thing you can tell her is that it is the17th in some parts of the world and she didn't specify that it had to be your own time zone.

I like this no rules challenge. I can bend these no rules to suit me. Ha ha!

don't need one.  She said she wanted an Apple watch but I I told her not until it can make breakfast or at least toast.  So we share a phone that is also a fine watch.

Happy Homemade Bread Day!

Oh, I neglected to mention Daisy's contribution! She's not into bread or baking, and leaves it all to Tillie and me, while she sprawls in the sun. But when these were baking, I noticed Daisy up on her hind feet, looking in the oven - first time for it. So, was it the aroma of baking bread or just investigating a heat source? We may never know.

Actually, they are a redo of Brenda's Oat Seed Bread. I had extra sourdough and couldn't throw it out so I decided to remake that bread since it looked so good and I never got to taste it.

Crumb shots are at the bottom of my original post.
