Hi from Las Vegas!

Hi everyone! I came across this site while looking for info on wheat berries. My name is Erin and I'm from the outskirts of Buffalo/Niagara Falls, NY. My husband is in the Air Force and we are currently living in Las Vegas, land of no snow at Christmas! Before we were married, my hubby bought me a bread machine and that thing is worth it's weight in gold to me! I believe that it has paid for itself many times over in the 4 years that I have had it :)

I'm very happy to have found this site so I can expand my breads, so if you have any really great recipes send them my way!

Hi, Erin.

Welcome to TFL!

Spend some time browsing the site. There is a wealth of information and inspiration to be found. And there are more "great recipes" than anyone could possible make in one lifetime. But, if you tell us more about the kind of bread you and your family like or the baking frontiers you want to explore, I'm sure you will get lots of advice.

Happy baking!

Everything David said is true.  The only thing he is guilty of is understatement.  :-)

My tip is to make ample use of that little white box in the upper right corner, with the Search button next to it.  Type in a word or phrase that you are interested in, clidk on the Search button, and you will get a wealth of posts to read.  For instance, every week or two someone asks about which mixer people would recommend.  There are hundreds (thousands?) of posts on that one topic.  Dig in and enjoy!
