Long Time Lurker, First Time Poster
Just got in to bread about a month or so ago. This site has been extremely helpful in my learning process. Looking forward to learning more and begging for help when I screw up badly!
For your time, pictures of my last two bakes:
Pumpernickel, from The Bread Bible. It has a bitter finish but is very soft crumb with a lot of flavor.
A Fig & Pecan number I modified from a no-knead recipe I found on the interwebs. It was OK but I thought overcooked and needed better preferment/flavor.
