I think you'll find all of the information you need right here. The best tip I can offer to a new visitor to the site is to look through the forums, everyone here is incredibly helpful and so many subjects are being actively discussed at once. If you have any questions you can usually find them relatively easily, and of course everyone is happy to help.

would be to limit your post to one forum. You are screaming at us. There are lots of tutorials and other info. Do your homework before you ask questions.

We're glad to have you here on the site. I guess the danger we all run into when communicating over cyberspace is that tone can get lost. I'm sure you weren't screaming at us :-).

MichaelH is right in that only one post is necessary. No matter what category it's posted under, it will be seen on the home page, so don't worry about it getting lost in the mix. As for "homework," it helps to do a preliminary search by typing key words into the search box on the top left of the page. A lot of questions have been asked before, so you may find exactly what you're looking for without having to post.

All of us bread enthusiasts are at different stages of development as bakers. Let's try to embrace everybody :-)
