Bread Matters

Hi,

please does anybody here own Andrew Wtitley´s book "Bread Matters"?

I would like to buy the book through amazon.co.uk, but I am confused about the different editions offered. Is there a difference (update, pictures, contents...) between:
Bread Matters: Why and How to Make Your Own 2009 Paperback
BREAD MATTERS: The State of Modern Bread and a Definitive Guide to Baking Your Own  2006 Hardcover
Bread Matters: The State of Modern Bread and a Definitive Guide to Baking Your Own 2009 Hardcover

(the editions are listed here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=ntt_at_ep_srch/279-4129390-7863313?ie=UTF8&search-alias=books&field-author=Andrew+Whitley&sort=relevancerank

Thanks for help!

Hi Zdenka,

I've worked for and with Andrew Whitley since the mid 1990s.

His book is a "must-have".

My best advice is to order the most recent edition.   Whether you choose hardcover or paperback is up to you.   However, be assured, Andrew has written only the one book called "Beadmatters".

I hope this helps you secure a copy.

Best wishes

Andy

Hi Daisy_A and Zdenka

Andrew's book in hardback is published in white...how crazy is that?

And...no dust jacket.

Mine's a signed first edition, but it looks pretty scruffy, even tho' it is not my most abused text....Hamelman carries that honour!   The photo pages have already fallen out.

All good wishes

Andy

Daisy_A,

The cover is undamaged..it's just dirty!!!!

In the hardback, there are two "plate sections" of photographs
