I'm making inquiries as to the status of future class reunions...I'll keep you posted. Howard Article from: Star Tribune (Minneapolis, MN) : Rick Nelson; Staff Writer The National Baking Center at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis has closed its doors, possibly for good. The center, a kind of elite graduate school for bread and pastry makers, has trained more than 2,000 professionals from around the world since it opened in 1996. It also operated a popular Saturday series for baking hobbyists. The center was founded by Bread Bakers Guild of America and the Retailers Bakery Association, two trade groups.

Betty, It's like losing...well, like losing the
Washington Monument or the Brooklyn Bridge. I've been working with "Grief Counselors" throughout the night trying to console the undergrads who will never see that burnished gold framed Racker Diploma hanging on their walls...and cancelling all those class reunions won't be any picnic either...I've gotta to get a refill on my Valium prescription.

if you didn't receive your honorary Dunwoody diploma. I know a guy over in Palatka, FL who runs a print shop and he does Honduran driver's and fishing licenses along with official Mexican i.d. cards. He assures me he can have you a diploma within a week or two...for a nominal fee. He's a personal friend of the skipper of "Honduran Gal".
