To be baked in 2009?   And when anyone asks how long it proofed, you can say you proofed it last year.   Now That's a slow proof!   Using last year's starter!

Hi, Mini.

I just finished washing up the Bosch bowl after mixing a batch of San Francisco Sourdough. Bulk ferment, divide and shape this afternoon. Cold retardation until next year. Bake on New Year's Day, 2009.

Thanks for the idea, Mini!  I had planned to start some sourdough  today for baking tomorrow, but hadn't thought of the fun '08 -'09 concept.  Cool!

Hi Mini....I'll be mixing up my sourdough (renamed due to weather conditions) in a couple of hours, then off it goes into the fridge where it will stay till next year.  :-)
