Rare to-go pizza pie today
Hello, Pizza pie aficionados,
File this under, if you can dream it you can be it! I plan to do N.Y. pizza my way. My take-it-or-leave-it rules are 1. No by the slice 2. No delivery 3. You don't have to go home, but you can't eat it here! Other things to mention, are limited hours/goods (get here early) with pizza only available on select days and times

Happy belated national pizza day! Also known as, pizza Friday!
I am thinking to add some more cheese to my 18" pies. Thoughts?
Denver Pletzel
Denver delis sell something called "pletzel," which is NOTHING like any pletzel (or pletzel recipe) I have ever found in NY. They are about 8 - 10 inches in diameter, thin and crispy (they are sold in plastic bags, because they shatter -- impossible to bring back to NY on a plane), and do have onions/garlic on top. Any clue how to make these?
Friday night is alright for pizza!
New York-style. I submit (again) the iconic N.Y. street slice. This native NY'er can vouch as to authenticity!
Calm before the storm, pizza bake.
Friday night, less is more pizza pie. Three kinds of Italian cheese Locatelli Pecorino Romano, Grande East coast blend Mozzarella, and a hit of Parmigiano Regiano finishing cheese, (post bake)
Now That's-A-Nice-A-Pizza pie!
