Newbie to milling -Nutrimill settings

Hello, I just bought the Nutrimill classic to make bread loaves,  a millet flour mix for our traditional porridge, fine chapathi/roti flour.

I kept the motor speed knob to the left and the bottom knob near the 10:00 position.

I seem to have fine flour but with coarse pieces in it. Is that how it is? I see videos where it seems to be fine thru and thru. For example for the millet flour, I milled 13 cups of flour and had 1 and half cups of coarse material which I later seived.

When I milled wheat berries, I had fine flour with a little coarse material which made the chapathi hard. It was like a cracker lol.

Is it normal to have a coarse pieces or am I missing something ?

I use a Nutrimill and have not experienced your issue. It appears you have the motor speed set correctly for a fine grind. The lower knob, if set too far to the left, can cause the feed rate to fluctuate. I have never set mine that far to the left. Try a setting just shy of 12 o'clock and let us know if you notice a difference in how uniform the grind is.
