Old Hobart A200 mixer

I have a Hobart A200 (20 qt) mixer, built in 1985. In 1988 it was in an industrial fire. I acquired it in 1989 and removed all of the transmission gears and oil (the grease had separated due to the fire).  For the past 20 years it has been sitting in storage. The gears and grease had been removed and cleaned up. Now I am in the process of rebuilding it for my baking business. My concern is that one of the shafts was broken, possibly before the fire.  I believed it was the worm wheel shaft because the worm gear showed excessive wear and tear.  I ordered a new shaft and worm gear, but when they arrived, the shaft looked very different from the one I have. Could it be that a newer model A200 would have a different style shaft than the 1985 model? Unfortunately, having the mixer in pieces over the years, and moving around, I lost the cover plate that holds the ML number. I know I should be addressing this to Hobart, and I have.  They have not yet replied, and if and when they do, they will undoubtedly state that "without the ML number, we are unable to supply you with any information."

If anyone has any information that you can give me, it would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.

There are at least two sites online which sell parts to these machines.  Unfortunately, I cannot remember their names but I assure you they were there when I searched for a dough hook for that same machine.  Find the sites and get in contact with them to answer your question.

I actually ordered parts from two different sites; OneSharpstore.com, and Sharptechsupply.com. One of these two sent me the shaft in question. I posed the same question to them but they have not yet replied. I don't know if they would actually be able to answer this question. I'm not sure if they are just a parts distribution center or if they also work on food service equipment. Thanks for the information.

Hobart01. I also have an older model A200 - the serial on the back plate says 11-332-805. So far all the parts manuals I am looking up are for much newer models with timers, and the on off switch is completely different. It just started made a snapping noise, and when turned back on will rotate, but makes a jumping noise.
