Toasted Bread Soaker

Have you tried this?

Take some stale bread,  Toast it,  Grind it up and soak in 4 parts water at least 24 hours.  Then add to the dough.

I can understand how it will add a dimension of flavor to a loaf.

What ratios have you tried.

why water? Juice? Beer? Vegetable purée? Tea? Coffee? Milk? Soured milk? Kool-aid? Almond milk? Coconut Milk?

How about after aging it (or while you are waiting) tossing Sourdough starter into it and let it all ferment?
