Maundy Thursday Hot Cross Buns

A double batch baked today, recipe from my blog post, but with a nod to recent hot cross bun recipes on TFL, I added 15g of malt extract to the mix and took out 15g sugar.

I can't really detect the flavour (maybe not enough) but it did make for a sticky dough - and perhaps explained the wild oven spring I got!
