A baking tip
Just watching The Great British Bake Off (recently got hooked) and came across a tip for cakes but might work across the board. To prevent fruit or any add-ins (they were talking about glace cherries though and I've added the "add ins" but I think they were talking about anything) from falling to the bottom it should be dried and coated with flour before being added to the batter.
Just thought I'd share.
I don't think I've ever had bread add-ins sink to the bottom though. So maybe not a problem?
but a nice tip for cake or anything with a batter. I'm watching The Great British Bake Off (actually someone in America got me hooked on it) and has some great talent on there with nice ideas. Always come away with wanting to try a recipe or two.
