there and the splosions to prove it (side explosions)  That will usually go away with steam and a deeper slash.  So what 2 starters did you use for these beauties?  Love those whole grains.  Well done and

I used both a rye and a white flour starter. I think I made detailed notes but have to locate them. Also I used eggs something I rarely use in bread.
