Fool-Proof Impressive Yeast Bread Recipe for Thanksgiving Dinner?
I'd like to bring a really impressive-looking (and tasting) boule or an oval-shaped loaf to Thanksgiving dinner. I've made the rustic bread that's so popular on this board, and it turned out great.
I'm looking for something that I can start today for Thursday. Can anyone share their fool-proof (ish) recipes?
Thanks!
Here is one I made years ago: http://www.thefreshloaf.com/node/4934/thanksgiving-turkey-pumpkin-bread
You don't have to get into the shape, though. That makes it a lot more difficult. I have had great success with a simple loaf or dinner rolls made out of the same recipe. Yeast based, easy and a holiday flavor.
