I just saw your post...
I went in and got rid of all content type subscriptions under notifications.
I hope it works.
My problem is that I want to follow some threads but not all -I'm getting emails all day long.
Floyd - can you help us?

Afrika: you hadn't disabled everything, you were still subscribed to 12 threads.
David: as far as I can tell you are off everything.
Both of you: if you get any more you don't intend to receive, forward them to me with a note and I'll figure out what you are still subscribed to and take you off.
