Good Sale on KA Flour - DC/Baltimore
For those in the Washington/Baltimore area, Giant Food has a good sale on 5 lb. bags of KA Flour, all varieties: $2.99.
I don't know if all locations have the same sale. The last day of the sale is Thursday, Mar. 8.
I'm stocking up.

Thanks for the info. The Giant in Reston, VA carried all varieties at that price. FYI. I understand that Stop and Shop (with stores in New England), recently acquired Giant, so they may be having a similar sale.
Looks like Maria and I will be doing a quick stop in the Silver Spring/Germantown area.

Just noticed that KA Flour's back on sale at 2.99 / 5lb at the Giant stores in Northern VA, all varieties. Today's the last day though!
Funny, the store clerk told me back in March that he hadn't seen a sale like that on KA Flour at any time other than the December holiday... Spring clearance perhaps? Overstock? In any case, I stocked up.

But I bought so much last time I have little room for more (esp. because I'm refrigerating it to keep it fresh). ; -)
I know, my next thought was that I really need more in the way of storage containers... off to the wholesale supply shop.
