What will be the substitute of sultana other than Raisins?
Can I substitute fresh apricots with fresh peaches? Any other suggestions?

Substitute another dried fruit for the sultanas-dried apricots or peaches, prunes,etc.
As for fresh peaches being substituted for fresh apricots-that should work. Any fresh,juicy fruit should work-peaches,pears, mangos,apples (a little drier), kiwi, pineapple, bananas (treated so they don't darken).
It would be helpful to know what you are working on to know if any suggestion given would be appropriate.
Hi,
Thanks for your advice.
I'm prepared to follow the recipe of;
ORGANIC APRICOT & MARZIPAN FRUIT CAKE
http://www.marriagesmillers.co.uk/recipes/apricot.html
They suggest dried apricots. We expect using fresh food.

Looks like regular raisins, muscat raisins, currants, or apricots will be the way to go.

You must use dried fruit in this recipe. Fresh fruit is too wet-the cake will not turn out as expected. Use all dried apricot, if you do not want to use sultanas.
Europe's drieid fruit of choice has been Zante currants for centuries.
