What to make for Teacher Appreciation Week?
Next week is teacher appreciation week at my daughters school and Friday is the designated "Candy, fruit, or treat for the teacher" day. We baked sugar cookies for her at Christmas and she loved them but I don't want to go that route again, I want something special (i.e. bread) for this wonderful teacher.
I am thinking of a sweet bread or rolls.
Give me some ideas!
Danish, pain Allemandes aux fruits, Portugese sweet bread, sweet vanilla challah, the list goes on.

ancestors hail ? Maybe something in that vein ....
someone gave me a small aluminum pan of sticky cinn rolls, finished baked (lightly) with instructions to freeze. The instructions were plainly hand written from my student on the package how to pop into the oven. That made for a great Sunday! And the drawings and notes on the instructions made my day many times over!

Were the rolls fully or partially baked? Were the instructions to freeze and finish baking or freeze and warm?
My daughter and I love this idea!
until done and rather light colored (just lower the baking temp from the recipe and watch them carefully as you add time to the bake) all I had to do was uncover them. Well... first I had to take them home and freeze them, they were not frozen up to that point. Then when I wanted them (step one) unwrap and place into an oven to warm them up and lightly brown them and flip them out upside down onto a big plate. Yum!
Go for it!
