Yet another starter question

While I was baking my white sourdough yesterday, my wheat starter was fine, then I stirred it.  It fell.  Before I went to bed, I fed it again, then again this morning.  So my question is, if I had left it alone yesterday after it fell, could I have used it today without feeding it?
