Sweet and Sour
Added some honey to a whole grain sourdough loaf and it was hit.
Aromas of fruit. All those tasting agreed there was a fruity sweet quality to it.
Underneath you can taste the nice sour. My starter has finally gotten ripe after about 3 weeks.
A happy accident.
Doesn't it make you wonder what else lies waiting to be discovered by accident! And why is it that some of the best results are, more often than not, unintentional?
