Hey Quahtan, were you happy with the crumb you got for your desem? I made it a few days ago and found it was super super dense, like a brick. I'm trying again tonight with a recipe and method posted by JMonkey, will let you know how that one works out.
Well it wasn't as light as white bread or even regular whole wheat, but it was fine,
I would/will make it again. Definitely not a brick. ;-)))) I did knead it for 12 minutes in my DLX as it is suppose to require a fair bit of kneading so I thought
OK so the bread is a bit more dense than regular W/W, but what I really liked about it other than the taste was that I am able to slice it wafer thin, and I mean wafer thin..... qahtan
