Has anyone used the Zojirushi bread machine with a lid heater? I’d love to hear your overall thoughts—pros, cons, or anything worth knowing about the machine!
The lid heater made zero difference in top browning or pan temps. It is only 45 watts, so more of a lid warmer. Covering the window with foil makes a bigger difference, as you've experienced.
There's a switch that opens when the lid is lifted during mixing/kneading and shuts off the spindle motors until it's closed again. I dislike that "feature".
The best thing about Zo's is that they have good resale value when you decide to sell it. :)
