Smoked brisket on homemade whole wheat Bread. For lunch.

I'm sure it was good, but for me, a pastrami, brisket, or Montreal smoked meat sandwich calls out for rye.   The rye bread at Katz's is like cheap supermarket stuff, but at Langer's in Los Angeles the bread is pretty good (and the pastrami is very nearly as good as Katz's).
