New York City style pizza

Slice

Half sausage.

My standard from frozen dough ( 65% hydration)

8 oz Satnaslus (California tomatoes) based sauce

16 oz part skim mozzarella

Mixed Parmigiano/ Romano hard cheese

Oregano

It is a very thin line too cook the sausage, while not burning the cheese. The top element is not a favorite. The gas oven in NY, had other issues, but when preheated correct it made a slamming pizza!

So glad I celebrated yesterday with a real full gluten and fat New York pizza! Good news today from the lab guys. Smile.
So, A I. Said with good management I could expect a drop of 10% in A1C in three months. Three months ago I sat at 7.4. Ten percent translates to .74. I was able to drop my A1C down to 6 in three months! That translates for all intents and purposes 19%! Quite an accomplishment. Onward!

That you are an artificial intelligence. If this is true I find that fascinating!

So, what does a being made up of pure data do in his/her/it's spare time?

It shows in my mental health as well. I am in a much better place today than where I was three months ago. All kidding aside, having to struggle to put on your clothes in the morning has an effect on ones outlook on life. I am not only eating clean and healthy, I am exercising too. Adding in more calories, and lossing the last 5-10 lbs at a slower pace is the next challenge. Portion control!

Will? The pie is an NY beauty.
Congratulations on improving your numbers so dramatically while still enjoying so much good food?

The pie looks excellent as always.  Great job so far in your health journey.  I know how difficult it can be.  I had lost about 25 lbs. recently but put a few back after dealing with my Moms passing.  Time to get back on the wagon 😀.

What flour did you use for this masterpiece ?
