Baked today, a simple sourdough loaf made with four ingredients...Canadian organic Marquis wheat flour (fresh milled and sifted), water, salt and starter. Having this for dinner tonight with visitors from across the border, friends sharing a meal, breaking bread together.

Hi Ian, hope all is well with you. Think of you and your lovely garden often at this time of year...we're still in the last bit of winter but there are a few crocuses popping up so maybe Spring is close by.
A better looking loaf cannot be found. Wonderful!

Lovely always to see a bake from you. I got some Marquise from Barton Springs Mill and have used in conjunction with other flours. I’ll give it a try on its own when I return home in April. Hope you post more often 🙏❤️
