Hobart C100 Bowl/Splash Guard?

Hi everyone. I purchased a C100t in march of this year and I am in desperate need of a splash guard for my 10 quart bowl I cannot find one anywhere. Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell? Also I am looking to buy a 3 quart bowl and the adapter as well. These are impossible to find and super rare. I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks,

-Steve

Hi Steve,

I don't have an answer for your query.

But I see that you (and recently a number of other TFL folks) have duplicate postings within very few minutes of each other.  What I've noticed is that sometimes the software for this app seems to take its sweet time between our submission of a posting and the actual publishing of that posting.  I believe that leads people like you, and me, to wonder whether the software actually took the update.

May I suggest that you give it a few minutes to see whether that actually is the case before submitting dups.  I find this to be particularly so when submitting my blog entries, but I wait a few minutes and it is always eventually posted, albeit with a few minutes gap in time.

**update: even this comment took about 15 minutes to post.  The software must have been on a coffee break! **

Hi, sorry no help from me either. I just bought a c100 as well and had a question about your machine. When you use  the speed change lever (while it is turned off of course), is there a click or anything noticeable? Mine is smooth so I'm worried about not being fully in a gear when changing.

Do you mean a click when you change gear and then turn it on?

Yeah, I'm wondering if there is a click to let you know you are fully in gear. I've noticed sometimes that if I don't get the handle in the correct position, then the motor will run, but the planetary won't turn. I don't want to damage the gears.

I am so sorry for getting back to you so late. Mine does the same thing. Over time though I have gotten better at putting the handle in the right spot. I just try to make sure that the machine has completely stopped turning before I switch gears. Could you upload a video so I can see whats going on?
