Any help is greatly appreciated. Picked up this mixer from a local school. The model # on the base is KP2671XGR but the band on the head says commercial. I have searched online and cannot find anything similar. I also purchased a pro 600 with the 575 watt motor as they were both in unknown condition. Is one any better than the other?
A quick search on Google shows this as a "Kitchen Aid Professional 600 Model KP2671XGR 6QT 525W Stand Mixer". It is a discontinued model but you can still get parts some places. So your second purchase has a 'bigger' motor.
Anything you need for that model, including its history of manufacture, can probably found in a quick phone call to what I've found to be very nice people at onesharpstore.com.
