how do I get seeds to stick to the top of rolls

The dough is bulk proofing right now. I am making a triple batch of hard rolls and would like to top a few of them, i.e. most with either poppy, sesame or sunflower seeds. I wonder what the best way to make them stick would be.

Thank you for your help.

I use a silicone brush and plain water. Flour and water make glue ;-). Once the top of the rolls or loaf is damp, sprinkle the seeds.

Egg wash with or without yolk with the yolk makes it a little darker , beat well, use milk or water and brush on and sprinkle seeds.

Thanks! I'll try that because just rolling the rolls in the seeds didn't do much.

First shape them and then dip tops in a tablespoon of milk in the bottom of a small bowl, then into the seeds.  Refill bowl as needed.   Then let them rise.  Rolls can also do a partial rise top-side-down on a tray of seeds.  Depends on your recipe.

That is exactly what I did.
