Finally 2 ? nice 1 lb. Sour Dough loaves. Lot of thanks to Mike Avery

 Nice crispy chewy crust and a moist rich tasting crumb. Definitely a keeper this time. The birds will have to go without.

SD bread came out the way you like it.  They look terrific.

Very nice crumb even this am and toasts very well. Does not for some reason have a deep SD flavor Not sure why the starter is quite old.  I use for Pancakes more than any thing.  Quite a few tries at bread not as nice as they should have been. Mike has given me many tips but they fall into a pit for some reason. He is very thoughtful with me after all these years.
