50% Wholemeal Auvergnat with twists

thought I would share this nice little loaf that I made for a friend the other day its 50% wholemeal with home brew stout, a  yeasted loaf. Unfortunately no inside shot as it was given away and well received  by a friend that was showing us his commercial smoking equipment that can also bake a loaf of bread  but not at the same time of course .

I

Kind regards Derek

Yes Derek I still bake, love my sourdough breads! They don't always turn out the way I want, but I still love them!

I imagine the design provides a nice extra bit of crunch.

Hi David , the twisting of each piece of the cap does seem to give it a different look and also does make that part of the crust a little crunchier. glad everyone liked it quite an effective and easy effect to achieve.
