English muffin rings??

I like to make sourdough English muffins and I use the steel rings such as the one's shown in this link but they tend to corrode and rust. I make them so often I would prefer to spend more money for something that is in fact stainless steel. Does anyone know of a higher quality ring??

I thought of getting my brother to cut a cast iron pipe but I guess these days you have to worry if it was coated with something on the inside or outside to decrease corrosion (would would not be an issue with perfectly primed cast iron cookware).

Thanks in advance!

http://www.rochowcutters.com/ - makes a variety of cutters.  I have not used them, mostly because these are oriented towards someone doing a LOT of work making round things, but they are reputedly tough.  It may cost more than you want to spend, though - I think they are on Amazon.

I've never made english muffins inside rings.

Those are crumpet rings. Crumpet dough is a wet sloppy thing. English muffins are a bread dough that I cut out with big round cutters before cooking in a pan.

Rose, have you tried empty tuna cans?  I remove the top and bottom and go from there.  A little smear of oil keeps them from rusting.  Free is good!

I have called them "English Muffins" and that is the closest description for what I am making. The batter is loose and in need of the support that is because the gluten free sourdough is that way and would never rise if it was the consistency that would hold it's own shape. So, the cutters will not work. If I could get an older tuna can maybe, but the newer cans are coated with BPA?? I tend to avoid things like that but it is a great idea otherwise.
