Toasted sprouts

Can you sprout Buckwheat groats or Spelt berries, dry them in a dehydrator and then dry toast them in a frying pan? I like the taste of toasted grains in my bread but would also like to get the benefit of sprouted grains.

As an aside, I got my hands on some rye berries today so Cedar Mountain, watch out! I am going to be trying your recent rye breads in the near future! :-D

I have done bread with some toasted flour. Will add some nice flavour. I have done so with flour so treated it like adding in a non gluten grain and did upto 20%. You're doing so with a wholegrain so treat it like adding in any other seed or nuts etc.

Toadies.  The thing to remember is that if you are counting on them to supply enzymes to the mix then they start to be denatured at 140 F.  Usually there are other flours in the micx so this is not a problem
