Monsters Inc Halloween ciabatta

This is a "do nothing" bread introduced from facebook's perfect sourdough group, where apart from mixing (could help myself from playing with wet dough so i did 2 folds at 1 hour interval) and 1 fold and loosely shaping, nothing else is needed. I was intrigued so i try tried a small batch of dough to make ciabatta. 90% hydration. 2 hours bulk at RT and 15 hours bulk in the fridge. loosely shaped n baked with steam for 15 mins.

Easy enough and i got a monsters inc ciabatta. Happy halloween!

Must be sliced horizontally to keep fillings inside!

eat from the outside to the hole...... it eventually goes away.  Lucy told me she was always afraid of closet doors when she was young.  She would be dreaming and the closet door would mysteriously slide open slowly and then from the dark recesses a battle ax would drop from the blackness, falling ever faster until it cut her long, wiener body in half.  She would wake up remembering seeing her lower bloody half running away from the equally bloody top half.

I'm thinking Monster Inc bread is somewhat better than that.  She does love telling that story to the young ones around Halloween though and loves to see them grabbing their long bellies to protect themselves.

Happy Halloween baking Py

Dab, i really think you and Lucy will make excellent children's book authors if you decide to call it a day with your wonderful baking! Love the imagination and the joy you and Lucy bring to TFLers
