2 tsp. maple syrup = (how much?) non-diastatic malt powder

I have a bagel recipe that calls for 2 tsp. maple syrup, but I'd like to use non-diastatic malt powder instead. What would be the equivalent amount of malt powder to replace the 2 tsp. syrup?
