Some more bakin'

Having some friends over for a cookout tonight and made some hamburger buns and hot dog rolls....and marshmallows for our s'mores! I hate to have to buy the garbage marshmallows at the store, so I love making my own.

The rolls and buns are beautiful. What recipe did you use? And marshmallows, I don't have a clue about what they're made from beside sugar. I bet they're tasty. Great job. weavershouse

And the marshmallows are just sugar, egg whites and gelatin...with a little almond extract in there for fun :)

Those look amazingly good. I'm starving right now and what I wouldn't give for one of those with a burger or dog in it now. I am going to try Bill's recipe, too. Looks like a good one.

Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa), one of my favorites has a recipe for homemade marshmellows I always thought would be fun to try. Just never got around to it. Yours look awesome. Enjoy your dinner.
