Kettle Pizza Kit for Charcoal Grills

Has anyone every seen or tried the Kettle Pizza kit that attaches to Weber Kettle grills?

They claim to reach a temperature of 700 degrees.

Here is the link to the website:

I have a similar contraption that I made that gets me 650-700 degrees F. I cut a door opening in the grill lid similar to what they are selling. My unit runs on propane. Pizza done with the leopard spots on the bottom and top in 2 minutes.

Thanks Eric for the info.  Would love to see photos of your version and to know how you did it yourself.

Here's a kit to grill excellent pizza in any grill that's at least 14 inches wide. Also works in your kitchen oven: http://www.pizzahomechef.com/pizza-grill-kit

Are you the inventor of this item?

Funny, as I just posted about pizza I made last night.

Tried a few experiments with upside down cast iron pans, but got unpleasantly scorched spots.  More like charcoal than char. Got the idea of recreating my pizza oven setup, but substituting a cast iron pizza pan so I wouldn't have to worry about a stone cracking.

It takes longer to bake than in my 550F oven, but comes out very savory. My wife considers it an extra treat. I think some of the savor from other things I've grilled adds a nice savor to the pie.
