The cover and the face plate to the "The Pizzas" chapter show what I can only describe as a breakfast pizza. The topping appears to include eggs (sunny side up?), spinach leaf, and bacon, Canadian bacon, ham or pepperoni.

Try as I might, I cannot find any recipe that matches. Will someone take my hand and lead me?

When I saw the pic, all I could think of was my younger days and leftover pizza out of the fridge for breakfast. If I felt industrious, I might even warm it in the oven. The idea of a bacon and egg pizza for Sunday brunch just sends shivers up and down my spine. Please help if you can. If you don't know where Rhinehart hid the recipe, suggest a method for dealing with the eggs (done separately and added?).

cheers,

gary

I've neither made not tasted this pizza but when I read the recipe the other day I kept the URL in case I wanted to try it some day:

Pizza sauce and various toppings, from the Pizza Basics section at theartisan.net.

A favorite of ours is to add prosciutto, mozzarella and a raw egg as toppings. The egg cooks perfectly in the 5 minutes it usually takes to cook one of these thin crusted pizze. [sic]
Wow! That's cool; I've got to try it.

Now, I wonder why PR would picture a pizza, but hide the recipe.

cheers,

N.B. I am aware, after the fact and too late to hide by editing, that I misspelled Mr Reinhart's name above. Sorry. --gt
